Secret Atlantic City Baywalk Has Amazing Sunsets

AC Sculpture Walk at the Marina

Voted Best Sunsets

Many Atlantic City visitors aren’t aware of this really unique walkway along the bay in the Marina District.  The Baywalk connects the Golden Nugget to Harrah’s and Harrah’s to the Borgata. Plans have been announced to upgrade this experience by adding local and regional artists sculptures, more landscaping and a fantastic lighting package. If you are staying in the Marina or just want to stroll along and check it out, you can park on the surface lot at Harrah’s or Golden Nugget and begin your walk.  These are the only two ways to gain easy access to the walkway.

The section that wraps around behind Harrah’s and Borgata is known as one of the best “Sunset” locations in AC.  There are several seating area’s along the way that allow for a relaxing and truly amazing Sunset experience.

What You Will See at Marina Walk

As you travel from the Nugget towards Harrah’s, you will walk along a concrete path and pass under a massive bridge with excellent views of the Great Egg Harbor Inlet and Brigantine Beach, you will see plenty of boats, from leisure to commercial fisherman in addition to plenty of wildlife.  You will feel an amazing shore breeze in your face and smell fresh salty waterfront air courtesy of the New Jersey Shore.

As you approach Harrah’s you’ll enter onto a wooden walkway similar to the Boardwalk along the backside of the Resort Casino, beautiful marsh grasses and plenty of wildlife is in full view.  As you get closer to the Borgata you will find the small piers jutting roughly 20 feet in the meadows with wooden bench seating and your home for the most amazing Sunset.

Great Aerial Pictures of the Location of this Walkway

The first photo on top, you can see the entire length of the path along the water as it wraps around.  The second photo shows the area behind Borgata which is hidden from the wind and gives you a different waterfront experience.  Along the water, Harrah’s built a walkway, it actually starts almost under the Brigantine Bridge and follows around the back of the property.  My guess is that the walkway travels almost one mile or possibly longer.  Many visitors say it’s the most refreshing, amazing outdoor experiences, it will always include plenty of wildlife from cool birds to fish.  You will also see one the most productive Wind Mill Farms in the Nation as you approach the South End.
