China Village Inn – We like this one as a simple, clean place to stay just short drive to Atlantic City and ACY International Airport. Plenty of local restaurants in the area. Don’t forget the free newspaper, wireless internet and continental breakfast.

Good and cheap! If you don’t mind a mostly no-frills motel option then the China Village Inn will work wonders for you. If you want something extravagant, keep looking. You get wifi, TV with a DVD player, lots of channels including movie channels, and there are apparently suites with jacuzzis which we did not try out this time around. Continental breakfast was good with all your expected items making an appearance. The property and rooms are clean and comfy and the staff makes a good effort to be helful. I would stay here again for sure. Rating: 3.0

» Nightlife «

On the White horse pike traveling west you can find plenty of bars with live bands or sports bars with karaoke on certain nights. Tailgater’s and Six Pack Pub are in this area.

Denny’s – 1/2 mile
Pizza Hut – 1/2 mile
Ram’s Head Inn – 5 star gourmet restaurant 1 mile.
5 Guys – Burgers and fries close by.

» Directions «

From Points North: Take the Garden State Parkway South to Exit 40, merge onto RTE 30 East, hotel entrance just ahead on right.

From Points West – Philadelphia: AC Expressway toward Atlantic City to Exit 12, turn Left on CR 575 / Wrangleboro Rd / Pomona Rd and go about 3.3 miles, turn right on RTE 30 / White Horse Pike, hotel is on right.

From Atlantic City – we recommend taking either Martin Luther King Blvd or South Carolina Ave (near Resorts) or Virginia Ave (near Taj Mahal) West to Route 30 White Horse Pike and travel west 8 miles, hotel is on the left in Absecon, NJ. Or take the AC Expressway westbound to Exit 12, turn right on CR 575 and follow West directions above.
