BATTLE AT THE BOARDWALK HALL

SEVENTH ANNUAL CHEERLEADING AND DANCE NATIONALS

Atlantic City, NJ, January 22, 2008 – Top-notch cheerleading and dance teams from across the nation will be making their annual trip to Atlantic City to compete for the title of National Champions at Historic Boardwalk Hall.  Spirit Unlimited is proud to present their 8th Annual Battle at the Boardwalk Cheerleading and Dance Nationals on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., which will feature exciting cheerleading, dance, gymnastics, and acrobatics routines. Come witness one of the fastest growing and most entertaining sports sweeping the country.

 

            Competing teams will receive numerous prizes, gifts, and awards at the event. This year’s national championship is also a qualifying event for “Final Destination,” an end of the season competition featuring the best of the best All-Star and Recreation Cheerleading & Dance teams. The Nation’s Leading Cheerleading Companies’ (NLCC) Final Destination is unique in that it is an all skills level championship beginning with the Youth Division (4th graders) to the College/Open Division. Each will have the opportunity to compete for the title, “The World’s Best” in May 2-4, 2008 in Virginia Beach, VA.

 

            “The Boardwalk Hall which hosted world-renowned events such as the Miss. America Pageant is the perfect venue for this competition because of its historical reference, event capabilities, and destination amenities,” said Tracy Ricker, co-owner of Spirit Unlimited.

 

            Tickets will be sold at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office on the day of the event.  Tickets prices are $10 for youth ages 6-10, $10 for senior citizens ages 65 and over, $20 for adults, and children 5 years and younger enter free.
