ATLANTIC CITY, N.J – Hoops action heats up in Atlantic City when the 2009 Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship returns to Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall, March 11-14. Beginning Monday, February 4 at 10 a.m., fans can secure spectacular seats for each of the Championship’s six sessions starting at just $25 for bronze, $30 for silver, and $55 for gold. Tickets will be sold through the Boardwalk Hall box office, all Ticketmaster locations, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone at 800-736-1420.

“I can’t think of a better place to see this type of competition,” said Jeffrey Vasser, executive director of the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority. "Boardwalk Hall’s atmosphere, combined with the on-court action and the city's 'Always Turned On' entertainment, dining and nightlife, will give basketball fans a great experience."

The Championship features twelve Division I college basketball teams, including nationally ranked Xavier, defending Champion Temple, and fellow Philly favorites St. Joe's and La Salle. Six sessions will span four days with opening round doubleheaders beginning Wednesday, March 11 at noon. The final game will take place Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. The 2009 Champion receives an automatic bid into the NCAA Championship.

 The Atlantic 10 Conference, which spans eight states and the District of Columbia with a total population of almost 73 million people, will crown champions in 21 sports this season.
