of the "Father of Atlantic City",
Dr Jonathan Pitney, Physician, Educator,
Politician, Businessman... and more. Built in
1799, added to in 1848 and beautifully restored
in 1997. 10 Total Rooms,
the "Pitney
Manor House" has six (6) rooms
all with private baths, gas fireplaces,
air-conditioning and decorated with antiques
from the early 1800's and Victorian era. The "Guest
Quarters" located on the west side of the
Common-yard, consists of four
(4) beautifully decorated suites that we have
harmonized in a treasure-trove of antiques,
collectibles and today's conveniences. Guest
Quarter suites have Fireplaces and Whirlpool
Tubs Close to Atlantic City (and Casinos),
Historic Village of Smithville, Historic Renault
Winery, Forsythe Wildlife Preserve and numerous
golf courses. Step back
in time yet enjoy the warmth of the fireplace or
the aromatic scents that waft in the room from
the breeze of the ceiling fans. In three suites,
enjoy a relaxing whirlpool bath (Jacuzzi)
nestled in our very own bath salts or enjoy your
favorite television program or VCR movie.

Take the AC Expressway eastbound toward Atlantic
City. Leave Expressway at Exit 9. Turn left at first road on
Delilah Road, Route 646 east. Go half mile to Airport Circle.
Second road on right (continuation of Delilah Road), bear right.
Go 6/10ths of a mile to Westcoat Road (Route 683). Take a left
and bear to the left for 2.5 miles, continue on the left to
Route 651, until Route 30, (the White Horse Pike). Take a right
at Route 30 and go 9/10ths of a mile to Shore Road (Route 157).
Keep to the left at Shore Road take a left. Go two blocks to
Church Street and make a left on to Church Street, 100 feet on
the left, turn into the parking area.
Option 2 (Easier) - AC Expressway to Exit 5 New RD, Rte 9
(Pleasantville), turn left at light (Rte 9, New Rd) and travel
about 4.5 miles to Rte 30, Turn Right on Rte 30, go to to next
light and turn left (Shore RD), Pitney house on left about 2
blocks. |

Jonathon Pitney House B & B is Atlantic City's
best bed and breakfast. Just a few short miles to Atlantic City
near local restaurants and shopping. The rooms have gas
fire places and are decorated beautifully. AM Breakfast is
always a treat with host Don Kelly. Look for hot homemade
muffins made daily and other great treats! |
