Links at Brigantine Beach Golf
Club - Located just over the bridge from Atlantic City's
Boardwalk & Casinos, the barrier island of Brigantine NJ boasts
the celebrated Scottish style golf course a true taste of
Scotland at the Jersey Shore! This magnificent layout is
extremely popular with both locals and tourists, boasting
impeccable year round playing conditions, a challenging but fair
layout, and extraordinary customer service. The Links at
Brigantine Beach is a 'Must Play' for Atlantic City visitors.
Built in 1927 as part of the island's master plan, The Links at
Brigantine Beach is unique in the Northeast with its Scottish
Links design by Wayne Stiles and John Van Kleek. Brigantine's
history is intertwined with the famed Scottish links courses of
old. Local legend suggests that "Old Golf Professionals" from the 1920s
practiced at Brigantine including John Mc Dermit the US Open
champion before sailing for the British Open.
True to its historic Scottish roots, this layout offers
breathtaking bay views, native marsh and gently rolling, nearly
treeless terrain. With prevailing sea breezes and carefully
placed concave bunkers, this 18-hole, par 72 course provides an
exciting and ever-changing experience for golfers of all skill
levels. After a decade of renovation and upgrades, The Links at
Brigantine Beach offers a wonderful golf experience combining
modern amenities and historic grandeur.

The Links at Brigantine Beach
is known for it's conditions similar to Scotland and Ireland,
without the rain of coarse. The greens are exceptional for
a public course, they're receptive to iron shots and putt very
true. Water hazards come into play on sixteen holes. The
signature hole is #15, a 175-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot
over water to an undulating green and water down the entire left
side. Another good hole is #3 a par 3 hole over water, up hill
and into the prevailing wind. Garrett Gill and George B.
Williams redesigned this course in the early 1990' s. Clubhouse
has a great bar and good food. This a fun round of golf
for all handicap levels. |

Directions from the Philadelphia and areas WEST
-
Take AC Expressway East into Atlantic City
Stay in right hand land for Exit 1 to Tunnel Connector:
Overhead exit sign says: Marina, Brigantine stay right

Take Exit 1

Follow Tunnel Connector thru Atlantic City marina
district to Brigantine Bridge…
staying in the middle lane (Overhead sign says: Brigantine)

Go over Brigantine Bridge which will put you on
Brigantine Blvd.

Look on right hand side for "The Links" white oval
signs with Blue arrows

Continue straight on Brigantine Blvd. for 3 1/2 miles
(you will traverse the lighthouse circle, go half way
around) Stay on Brigantine Blvd. as the numbered cross
streets will descend, past them look for Roosevelt Blvd.

Make a left on Roosevelt Blvd. (Clipper Ship Motel on
the corner)

Follow Roosevelt Blvd. to the end by the bay

right
